Message from the Principal
Feeling stressed? Come join students and families for morning Yoga, every Tuesday at 7:30am in the gym before school starts. Breath in, breath out.
PS 20, in partnership with Talent Prep, is piloting a biligual afterschool program which will support ANY student interested in learning and practicing Mandarin. The estimated cost would be $160 a month (M-F 2:40 - 5:30 snack included. Those who pay for Jan - June will also get 10% off. If any parents prefer part time, tjeu can do 3 times a week for $100 a month. Talent Prep will work with students to complete homework, establish reading groups, and practice Mandarin using art and science activities. If interested, please email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
NY Cares has been an integral part of updating the facilities at PS 20 this year. They have sent over a hundred volunteers in all to help clean out supply closets, paint murels and canvases for the library, plant and clean our garden, and paint our fence in the little yard. They will be back on December 8th to support us once again in organizing rooms. It would be great if parents could volunteer time to help the volunteers or come in to say Thank You. They typically come together around 10 in the morning or 1 pm for lunch if you want to stop by to say thank you.
